Hi all i have been hearing about health benefit's from taking Tumeric, I was speaking to a lady the other night at my Pilates class and she has been suffering pain in her back and having physio and massage for her symptom's, then she told me that she has been taking a Tumeric suppliment for pain relief after reading the health benefits and has noticed some difference in level of pain relief scince taking this suppliment, and i found it very interesting as when i am in pain with my lower back i prefer not to take pain killer's so prefer an alternative.

Has anyone else tried Tumeric for health reason's?, has it helped? i would love to hear from you if tried it.

Hi Gemini

I have also read loads about tumeric, I have a jar of tumeric powder which I add to stir fries but I think tumeric root would be more potent, so when we have a bit more money I am going to order some tumeric root and grow it at home  https://dailyhealthpost.com/how-to-grow-turmeric-indoors-it-is-far-better-than-buying-it/  hopefully it's as easy as it sounds smiley

Great to hear it has helped your friend.

Hi seabee x

Thank you for your reply. I was reading that organic form is better and that tumeric root is more potent than the dried form. Let us know if you manage to get some to grow and if you notice any benefits from it.

Hi Claire x

Well i have been taking the tumeric for almost a week i take it on an evening after my tea along with multivitamin capsule. I have noticed that sometimes the pain in my lower back does disappear for a short period, however i still have stiffness and pain in my lower back but i am going to continue with it and let it get into my system. Ah that is a shame im not on FB but thank you for the info.

Hi Gemini

Did you know that a spoonful of tumeric powder added to a spoonful of honey gets rid of coughs. The mixture needs to be taken every 6 hours, but the taste is awful.         Geri xxxxx

Marieve not tried turmeric

Marieve not tried turmeric supplements myself yet but just wanted to share with you that my friend got special turmeric biscuits that are specially made for dogs for her pet. Apparently it is good for the animal's joints and immune system.
