what crystals have you bought recently?
Hi FI, it really is isn't it :) Oh I know what you mean, just love gladtonbury. Me and my chap are staying for 7 nights in October this year..can't wait! Although I think I need to start saving for then, as the shops are full of lovely things! xx
The information you posted about spirit quartz was very interesting. I had never heard of this crystal and it does'nt seem to be in the crystal book i have. Its really lovely and seems a very useful crystal. The only one that looks a bit like it in the book is called Chalcedony. I would certainly like to get a piece.
The last crystal i bought was a heart shaped piece of clear quartz which i really like.
I have The illustrated guide to crystals by Judy Hall. Am wanting to get a new crystal book anyway, so will look out for the 2nd book.
That would be nice to have the cryatal at the bedside cabinet i think and it would be giving out good energies.
I got the heart shaped quartz from the shop at the spiritualist church. I'd seen it a few times there, and last time i felt really drawn to buying it. I do have quite a lot of different crystals which i've gathered over the years. I have them on decorative plates displayed, so i have put it carefully arranged beside the others. I should carry it with me or maybe beside my bed. The only one i tend to carry with me always is a rose quartz angel. I must start to work more with my crystals, but sometimes there's just so much to fit into the day lol.
Thank you for your time in doing the reading for me, i will read it all through tomorrow and let you know and give you feedback very soon.
Thanks so much for that. Love Marie xx
Your spirit quartz sounds lovely. I hadn't heard of it before either but i will definately look out for it now.
Marie I have collected load of crystals over the years and like you I really need to work with them more. I've been doing some crystal grids, after Gemini posted about them, and I can feel the energy from them.
Love Val x
Yes, the crystal grids look very interesting, there's a bit about it in my cryatal book but not as much details as Gemini posted. I am definatly going to have a go at it and see how i get on. I could work with crystals for hours but don't always have as much time to spend on them as i'd like. Need to arange my days better lol.
Will let you know how i get on.
Love Marie xx
I was just checking a few things that I got as presents over the years and just discovered a pendant that my mum's partner gave me a while ago, and found out that it is tigers eye, I've just been reading up about the qualities of this stone and they are amazing so I've wore it today for the first time. There are so many crystals I must read up about them and learn how to use them more, they've always interested me but now I feel ready to learn so much more about them but unsure why
Yes, i agree, cryatals are amazing when you start to find out about all the different properties they all have. I used to be attracted to to them just by their colour [which i still am] but i now look into what each particular one is for healing wise as well.
I have 2 small pieces of tigers eye, i did have a bigger oval flat piece which i gave to a friend a while ago. I like the stripey effect on it. Your pendant sounds lovely, enjoy wearing it.
I got an obsidian scrying ball recently :)
I love it.
The last crystal I bought was blue lace agate. I liked the lovely pale blue colour and the way the lines run through it like every line marks a period of time when it was being formed, it also feels a calming and insightful crystal, I haven't looked up the full meaning of it yet.
The scrying ball sounds lovely. I used to know someone who had a smokey quartz scrying ball but don't know if they ever used it. I too would be interested to know if it's easy to do.
for some people, Scrying comes easier than others. with a clear ball, you sort of look through it. with a scrying mirror or dark coloured ball. you sort of do the same, even though you can't see through it. you look past it.
recent new additions. tumble of lepidolite.
and a lovely square chunk of optical calcite
I went for a green jade and a black jade as well as a selenite bar for cleansing my crystals.
a bit naughty.
I've had quite a few of my survey sites reach payout at the same time, and still have a bit of birthday money left from October, that I just never found the right thing for...
so, while waiting for the £50 from the biggest one to clear, I've reserved a beautiful Amethyst pod that I just fell for big time when collecting some bits and pieces from some local crystal sellers.
apart from my engagement ring (which is more the cost of the entire piece of jewellery than the stone alone) , that's the most expensive crystal I've ever bought. eeeek.
