Keep your mind and body in the best possible shape with these wardrobe wellness rituals from Feel Good Fashion coach Miranda Holder

HARNESS THE POWER OF COLOUR

Tune in to the vibrations of the rainbow and treat yourself to some colour therapy.

Feel what it is you need each day and select colours to wear that resonate with your needs. The frequency of yellow, for example, will enhance optimism, whereas blue can promote peacefulness.

GET CREATIVE

Fashion can be loads of fun and it’s a wonderful way to express your creativity. Take time to nurture that inner child and get playful with all the different effects you can create.

Sometimes the most wonderful outfits spring from the most unusual combinations! The key is to have plenty of accessories to mix and match.

BE ORGANISED

Practising ‘wardrobe wellness’ will have a positive effect on your daily life. Keeping your clothes maintained and organised will take the stress out of dressing in the morning and make the whole experience far more pleasurable. Opening the doors to a wardrobe that is neat, organised by colour, and only contains garments you wear and love is very satisfying indeed.

PRACTISE THE LAW OF ATTRACTION

Yep, this works with fashion too! It’s important to wear clothes that make you look good, but, most importantly, make you feel good. Instantly your vibration is raised, you see the universe differently and it sees you differently in return. Good things will be winging their way to you!

MODEL THE MAGIC

Invest in a session with a personal stylist. You’ll familiarise yourself with how to most flatter your figure, and also learn how to further improve your mood by picking appropriate outfits. For example, if you’re having an ‘off day’ and need to soothe your soul, it’s so therapeutic to cocoon yourself in something soft and snuggly.

MAKE IT A RITUAL

Switch off the internet, play some high-vibe music, get the incense burner going, and light a few candles. Enjoy the process of deciding what your needs are, how you want to look and feel. Take care to select the perfect accessories and lay everything out ready for the next day. Your future self will thank you for it.

USE YOUR SENSES

Focus on the colours of your clothes and feel the different textures of the fabrics. Inhale the scent of your perfume. Let your senses soothe your spirit for a few moments and you will feel more centred throughout the day.
